Hi joe just did the oil change in my nissan murano, just noticed cooling liquid coming between the oil pan and the gasket
Hi i always have trouble getting a oil reading on dipstick q canyou see the oil dipstick when taking off this pan thanks great video
Nice work, great explanations as well.
Joe. Any idea what the oil pan bolt specs are. Dealer quoted me bucks a bolt! Mine are pretty rusted so thought best to do it right, once and just put all new bolts. I understand they are mm, but how long and threading? I can t find any info online about suitable replacements for the f bolts. Great videos by the way, i m going to be tackling a lot of similar repairs ie oil cooler print and coolant line, today confirmed my ac coil bad by mechanic. You vids are a huge help.
My question is how is this holding up with the added gasket. Since the gasket isn t a requirement just the rtv. I m debating on your method vs just rtv.
When i saw your rust and how easy it peeled away was taken back a bit. Curious would getting a can of bbq high temp. Spray paint and say adding coats help or whole can in say coats? Was looking at an added of paint for rust prevention. Oh nicely done video easy to see everything you talked about and how to do it!
Right on time man, i really appreciate u making this video. Guess what? Ill be fixing my oil pan gasket today. Thanks for ur help
I was just about to change mine out because of a small oil leak and i imagine the oil pan looks similar to that along with that oil cooler hose. I was thinking about spraying some truck bed liner on the oil pan and hose to help with debri impact in the future hopefully extending the life of it.
