Thanks for the video. I had to drive for minutes before the light changed from flashing to solid. Went home and filled up each tire to psi on my xterra, but the light still stays on. Any ideas?
Where s that wire located on a z bro?
Hi ry, i followed ur instructions but i didn t reduce the pressure. The car tpms flashed and after driving sometime it got back to steady on. I ll let u know after i decrease the pressure.
Ok so here is a good one for you ry. Push start cars lol. No key to turn. So im guessing we must push the button times and then tap or press one time and then tap ? Its a little complicated i know but a g is push start.
Hi ry, i just purchased a xterra, very similar to yours. It s an off road version. The tire light is on because the previous owner said, the batteries in the tpms need changed. What is your thoughts or wisdom?
Will this work with aftermarket wheels that are low pros that need a higher psi level than the originals?
Worked for me on my titan. Thanks
Infiniti g, have a bad sensor but no way to tell which one. No aftermarket diag tools read tps data. Can anybody help, i don t want to buy new sensors when i just need maybe one
I read it was times and you had to wait for the service light to go out.
Folks this procedure obviously doesn t work on all cars, all you can do, is try it. I have a nissan titan pro x and it worked great. Thanks for your post ry
I did this, and it did work, but not exactly like in the video. During the drive after the tap reset, the light was blinking, then went solid for a couple of seconds, thent went out. I checked the psi, and it was up lbs on each tire due to driving. The lowest was at, which must have been enough to avoid the warning. I let it cool down, then put each at.
Hello ry the car guy thanks for the great instruction. I followed every step your instruction, and the tpms light blinked and went off after only min driving. However, it did not came back on solid again after driving hours already. It should came back on solid just because the low pressure right? Do you know why? Thanks in advance
I just put winter tires on where the rim did not have a tpms. I have bought new sensors for the winter tires how do i get the computer to find the new sensors
Ry i have an xterra. Putting new wheels and tires on it. I want to install new preprogrammed tpms sensors in all wheels. Will this process work?
I tried to reset my tpms several time after gauging al four tires with psi but it seems like the light comes back on each time i do it the reset? Any idea?
Thanks for the info.
I work at a nissan dealership and that s not how we the reset tpms. Most times the tpms light will clear after you fill your tires to the correct pressure. We have a tool that you place next to each sensor and it will read it. If you have spare five minutes most if not all dealers should reset it for you.
Hi ry. I had the light on for years and i couldn t get it turned off. Last month i got all new tires to replace the worn ones and they put new tpms units that were bad and the tire shop said the other were fine. I went through the procedure and after driving minutes the light stopped flashing and gave me a long beep and the light stayed back on. I did it twice more and no luck. I don t know if the other units are also bad or is there something else going on. The tire pressure is set to lbs per label on the door of the xterra. It s an annoyance since the tires are brand new and the tires are pressure is good.
Good description men keep it up
