I have an audi a. L and it won t start it will crank but not start up and if it does it only runs for about seconds the pump is working could it be this sensor?

Has new plugs and i did find a kink in gas line as i replaced the fuel filter still no power in d. And has a new transmission?

Hello greetings i need your help please, i have a zx and my fuel trim long climbs to i think that is something the fuel rail injection pressure sensor that put a gauge on the rail and mark idle psi, to connect the multimeter to the sensor gives me a voltage. Volts, disconnecting the vacuum hose rises to psi gauge but the voltage remains unchanged at. Volt this is normal operation of the sensor? And change it times used sensors and they all work the same way or buy a new one or do i do?

The fuel rail pressure sensor was also made to lower the electrical load on the alternatorand help fuel economy. The vaccuum line was put in place for safety in case of rupture of the sensor s diaphragm, instead of afire you get a rough idle ultra bad fuel economy.

Hi, are u saying, the fuel pressure sensor works by sensing the vaccum in fuel rail. And not the fuel pressure in the line.

If you jump the v ref to signal and the signal has a short to ground you might cook the v ref regulator in the ecm. Jumping the signal to ground to see v is ok even if the signal is shorted to ground. A safer way tojump the ref to signal is to use a k ohm resistor.
