Hi, no idea mate never had to change the fuel filter.
So to change fuel filter the battery s need to be removed.
Yup they don t make it easy for us poor mortals
I was considering doing this but i soon realized that it wasn t suitable for my build. I have a solar panel controller that states the cables to the battery must be as short as possible to minimize losses. I also have a v charger that states the cables to the battery must be as short as possible to minimize losses. I also have a w inverter that states the cables must be. Well, you get the idea. Shame, this is a great idea and i could really use the extra space.
This looks very helpful! I m about to convert a t any chance you have the measurements of the base plate or a link to buy one?
Just been alerted to something i missed. The batteries are held in place by a long bolt that comes up through the base plate and secures them with the original battery hold plate that straddles across them both.
A bloke on the t forum sells them.
Cheers guys, glad its of help.
Great job. I have a t autosleeper topaz camper with an auxillary battery in a cupboard the back and splt charger in the same place as yours. Can t understand why autosleepers didn t do a similar job and save valuable storage space in the living area.
Very nice job, i m going to do the same sort of thing.
